Hello again,

It’s been a while since I last posted. Instead of giving you three posts to make up for the ones I missed, I’ll just make this one a little longer than the rest, to cover what you have missed.

Let’s start at week 4,

Having gotten the brief for my new project, Harpoonage, I was able to focus all my time on getting that done. By the end of the first week I had a good looking game. But it didn’t do anything, it looked good and there was movement, but that’s all.

Second week I had slacked off a bit, my online friends in my platoon had started playing minecraft again and I lost a couple days to that game. But I pulled myself together for the final week. But during the second week I was able to set up a menu system. It worked well, nothing was bugging out. Only thing was I got ahead of myself and created and options button and a continue button. But I didn’t do anything with them because I didn’t have time, and I knew it would have been out of scope to get a save and load system in, but I still got ready for it.

Third week of the project. It was the final week, and I noticed I didn’t have a game to play, so I added in Ai that could fly around all by itself. Then I added in the shooting.

The last day before presenting the project was just playing around with different numbers to make the game play better.

Then I presented the game. That was fun, but I’m not sure if I showed my game in a good light. Staring at something for three weeks can make you hate it.

So there you have it. A quick rundown of what you all missed.

Oh now I get to share with you my new adventure in “Nathan Does C#” Join me next blog to find out more!

Nathan Out!
