Week 2: Blood Arrow Beginnings.

So I’ve started making Blood Arrow, for now I’m just using the Blueprint section of Unreal to make it, mainly because it is a lot easier to get something out using that than code.
So what did I do? Well, it’s not much but it is a start. I’ve made it so I can shoot arrows, and the arrows will stick into things, and the speed that the arrow is launched at will be higher if you hold down the mouse button.
As I said, not much, but at least I have something down. My next step is to get a bow into the game and see if I can work the animations on it. I found a lovely bow and arrow on the internet that Josh Underwood created and is letting people use for free. Apparently it comes with animations, or the ability to make them with the model, but I know nothing of this, so I’ll find out if it is true soon enough.
Well that’s it for now, I’ll post an update when I get the bow in and working.
Till next time.
Nathan out!
